Malibu and Axis participated in two local holiday parades this month, collaborating with Knoxville dealer Moses Watersports at both the Lenoir City Christmas Parade on Thursday, December 7, and the Loudon Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 9.
In Lenoir City, Moses pulled a Malibu 23 LSV and an Axis T22, while the factory rolled out a 24 MXZ. All boats were adorned in Christmas lights and decorations. Despite chilly conditions, Malibu employees BJ Hensley, Cory Hank, Sean Holmes and Shelly Strickland brought their families to ride in the boats and pass out candy to the excited crowd.
On Saturday, the Loudon High School cheerleaders braved frigid weather to ride in a 23 LSV from Moses Watersports and Malibu 24 MXZ while tossing out candy by the handful. Thousands of people lined the streets on both parade routes, and Malibu was well represented in the local community.
A special thank you to Dustin Burke, Preston Thomas and Sarah Craig from Moses Watersports for their time and effort. Similarly, we want to thank Shelly Strickland and Thomas Tedford from Malibu for coordinating. And, a hearty thanks to Malibu engineer Jared Paul, who volunteered his time to pull the 24 MXZ at both parades—great job, Jared!
