The sun was shining, the Malibu Boats M235 wake was high, and the tricks were adding up for the winners of the Tommy’s US Wakesurf Open on August 10-12 at Millennium Park in Grand Rapids, MI. Event saw a large, enthusiastic crowd that cheered on all the riders while enjoying the park’s water sprayers, buckets, splashes, and other water features for the family to enjoy.

Fifty-four competitors coming from around the world stood on a podium this past weekend to win $20,000, great prizes, and add up points to qualify for the World Series of Wake Surfing Championship on September 6th through the 8th in Ogden Valley, UT. These experts all brought their A-game where the crowd saw John Akerman’s “Sushi roll”, Sean Silveira’a 10 spins, Cassidy Gale’s pro women’s surf win, and much more!
